Hey There, I’m EMily

  • How It Started

I have been working as a professional photographer for over 13 years. After graduating from Webster University Film Production Program I decided moving to New York or L.A. living in a one bedroom or studio apt with several other students was not in the cards for me. So I stuck around STL working on shorts, commercials and landing a full-time gig as a portrait photographer for a local family owned photo studio on the Hill. After 5 years learning from experienced photographers I moved onto another local studio where I became a Department Leader and Head Photographer for 8 years. I have photographed everything from weddings, corporate events, business headshots, families, kids, sports, schools, boudoir, products and anything else you can think of…I’ve probably photographed it.

  • Where I am Now

Since the pandemic, like most folks, I’ve spent a lot of time tying to figure out what makes me happy in life and where I see my future going. I decided I wanted to take things into my own hands and spend more time building my family, traveling and working on my own business. Finally, in 2022 I left my full-time position as the Lead Wedding Photographer and Department Lead and decided to build my own photo business.

I’m excited to try new things and use my business experience to pour myself into my own passions and my new clients. Starting my own business allows me to freely be who I truly am as an artist and business woman, making decisions that directly affect me and my clients for the better.

  • In the future

I look forward to working with clients who value hard work, determination, experience and want to showcase beautiful imagery that captures their life! Whether it’s through your business, your fitness journey or the most memorable and magical day of your life, your wedding day! I am here to guide you, encourage you and captivate the real you!

  • My Favs

I enjoy working out, playing coed softball, attending Cardinals games and watching my hometown Chiefs! Ice cream and tacos are my downfall and I blame my husband for my new sneaker enthusiasm! I love to travel to warm places for culture and adventure but behind the camera is my home!
